Junior Team Registration

Before registering a junior team, please ensure:

Your team meets the Junior Team Requirements (including age eligibility and player numbers).

You have a volunteer team manager and coach ready to go.

Both the team manager and coach have completed the required Child Safety Courses before registering.

You and your team members have valid PlayHQ accounts.

Important

The club does not provide coaches, but we reimburse the cost of Basketball Victoria community coaching courses completed during the year.

How to Register

Complete a Registration Form: Please complete one of the following forms: New Junior Team Registration Form, Returning Junior Team Registration Form.

Wait for Approval: The committee will review your submission to ensure it meets SBA requirements.

Receive Your Team Registration Link: If approved, we’ll issue a unique team registration code and PlayHQ link. This link is used by all players, the team manager, and the coach to register with the team.

Senior Team Registration

To register a senior team, the process is the same as for junior teams, but with some key differences: All players must be at least 15 years old by the first round of the season. Please ensure you meet all Senior Team Requirements including age and representative player limits.

How to Register

Complete a Registration Form: Please complete one of the following forms: New Senior Team Registration Form, or Returning Senior Team Registration Form.

Wait for Approval: The committee will assess the team’s eligibility based on the submitted form.

Receive Your Team Registration Link: Once approved, we’ll provide a unique registration link to be used by all team members via PlayHQ. Before submitting a form, please double check your team meets the SBA’s official Team Requirements. Incomplete or non-compliant registrations may delay team approval.
