PLAYING IN MULTIPLE TEAMS
Some players may be eligible to play in more than one team during a season. However, this must comply with Southern Basketball Association (SBA) rules and be approved by the club.
General Guidelines
Players may only play in one team per age group and division. Players can play across different age groups (e.g. U12 and U14) if age-eligible. A player cannot play in two teams in the same grade or division (e.g. both in U14 B1). Players must be registered with both teams via PlayHQ using their unique team links.
Fixture Considerations
The club cannot guarantee non-conflicting game times. It’s the responsibility of the player and families to manage scheduling if a player is in multiple teams.
Finals Conflicts
If a player qualifies for finals in more than one team and games clash: The player must choose which team to represent. The SBA will not reschedule games for players with multiple team commitments.
Approval Process
If your child is planning to play in multiple teams: Speak with both Team Managers. Contact the club via registration@sandysaints.com.au to confirm eligibility and get approval before registering.
