What You Need to Know.
Representative players (e.g. Sabres players) are welcome at Sandy Saints, but there are important rules to ensure a fair and balanced domestic competition.
REP PLAYERS
Grading Requirement
Rep players must play in A or B Grade. This applies to all teams that include players who also participate in representative programs.

Points System
Each rep player is assigned a point value based on their representative level.A team’s combined total must not exceed 14 points. A maximum of two 4-point players is allowed per team.

Declaration During Registration
All rep players must be declared at the time of team registration. Include their rep association and team in the submission (e.g. Sabres U14-1).

Player Registration Notes
If you’re a rep player: Let your Team Manager know before registering. They’ll ensure your team doesn’t exceed the 14-point rep cap.

What is a Representative Player?
A rep player is someone who plays in a representative basketball team outside of domestic competition—typically for associations such as the Sabres (Southern Basketball Association's rep program). These players often train more frequently and compete at a higher level.
